The urease and nitrification inhibiting properties of SUPERU premium fertilizer protect against nitrogen loss—enhancing nitrogen efficiency, boosting yields and reducing calculated cumulative nitrate leaching by 30%. This reduction in leaching doesn’t just preserve more nitrogen for crops, it minimizes potential losses to nearby water sources.

In a study conducted by the University of Illinois on corn fields averaged across 10 site years, SUPERU resulted in a yield advantage of 7 bu/acre compared to anhydrous ammonia treated with N-Serve®.

In two other studies conducted by the University of Illinois in Urbana from 2014-2016, researchers compared SUPERU fertilizer to ESN® and UAN treated with Instinct®. Application of SUPERU fertilizer, when averaged across three years, resulted in a yield advantage of 8 bu/acre over ESN. When average across two years, the yield advantage of SUPERU fertilizer over UAN treated with Instinct® was 12 bu/acre.
